FAQ

Our school backpacks use the same innovative carrying system that is used in trekking backpacks. It consists of a pre-shaped back section, adjustable shoulder straps and side hip straps that take the load, distribute it and shift the weight from the shoulders to the lumbar area.
Our Updown Box, Updown Soft, Updown Box Reflective backpacks carry the seal of approval from the Institute for Health and Ergonomics (IGR). This certification confirms their ergonomic design: they are able to adapt to the characteristics of a child's back.
The chest strap prevents the shoulder straps from slipping and sliding off. This can happen with slippery jackets or if the shoulders are narrow.
The hip belt has to take the load of the backpack and shift the weight from the shoulders to the lumbar area. To do this, it must fit well and be tightened.
First loosen all the straps. Then put the satchel on your child. Adjust the length of the shoulder straps so that the top of the satchel is at the same height as the shoulders.
